The fourth installment of "Bourne" franchise is on the way. Tony Gilroy, the writer and director of the upcoming "The Bourne Legacy" is reportedly searching for a new male lead. It's not that Jason Bourne (the leading character from the previous trilogy played by Matt Damon) will be replaced — but the new lead will likely be the new main focus.
According to Variety, Gilroy puts an eye on three famous names: Garrett Hedlund, who dazzled the cinema last year in "Tron: Legacy" and "Country Strong", the Academy Award nominee Jake Gyllenhaal, and the former "Spider-Man" Tobey Maguire.
The production of this movie itself will begin this spring, soon after they find the leading man. It is to be released in August 3, 2012.
