Starring Oscar-nominated actor Jesse Eisenberg who lent his voice to Blu, the domesticated macaw, and Anne Hathaway as his love interest Jewel, it tells about an adventurous story in which Blu has to get out of his safety zone with a help of 'the bird of his dream', Jewel. Blu has been living in Minessota for a very long time, and the independent and free-spirited Jewel takes him out to see the real world. With the ultimate destination Rio de Janiero, Blu finds ups and downs in his journey but has a lot to learn from friendship loyalty to love.
