The main plot is about a father (played by Cage), who was a master thief, whose daughter is kidnapped and locked inside a in the trunk of a New York medallion taxi cab, and has only a few hours to find her. The movie location is in New Orleans, and will start shooting in mid-March.
Akerman will appear in this March's drama comedy "Happythankyoumoreplease", alongside "How I Met Your Mother" star Josh Radnor.
