"Percy Jackson: The Sea of Monsters" is on the way!

After taking a journey down to the underworld on the search of the lightning thief, Percy Jackson will back again to the big screen through the sequel, "The Sea of Monsters". The studio reportedly have prepared a better screenplay to the second one, to gain more box office revenue and attract critics (the first installment "Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief" only rated 50% at Rotten Tomatoes).

Logan Lerman will reprise his leading man role as Percy, as well as Alexandra Daddario and Brandon T. Jackson. In this second movie, Percy who found out that he's actually the son of God of Sea, Poseidon, will reunite with Annabeth (Daddario), daughter of Athena, in a journey to the Sea of Monsters to track down the Golden Fleece, the only known remedy to cure Camp Half-Blood's magical border, the Thalia's tree.

I'm so agree of what Moviefone said, this will be a good refreshment since the adventurous science fiction like "Harry Potter" franchise has finally come to an end. What I'm hoping is that the second movie will be much better than the second one and they will be allowed to make more sequels from the Rick Riordan's five book series.
